week 12 - completing the proposal for final year project 1

After the presentation last week, there are lots of things that i need to add into my proposal report as suggested to me by my assessor. 

tips suggested by assessor:

1) operation and mechanical design by SIR SAMSUL

2) additional information for literature review by SIR SAMSUL

3) improvised time management to build the project by MISS NORULHUDA

this whole week i been working on improvising the proposal report in order to complete final year project 1 module. 

week 11 - presentation week

this is the presentation week to present my proposal and my research. basically everything went well and i succeed to make my assessor understand my project and they gave me a few tips in order to ease my work for the project. 

the presentation started at 3.00 p.m and i been assessed by two lectures which are MISS NORULHUDA and SIR SAMSUL separately. MISS NORULHUDA arrived at my booth around 3.20 p.m and i present to her about my project around 20 minutes followed by SIR SAMSUL afterwards.

  

week 10 - preparation for slide presentation

this week mostly i am spending most of my time work on my slides and get myself ready for my presentation. i have discussed with my adviser on how to present my slide and how to score marks from my assessor.

At the same time the list of assessor have been release and i will be asses by MISS NORULHUDA and SIR SAMSUL from electrical sections. wish me luck

week 9 - buying components for circuit

in this project i divide it into two parts which are circuit and mechanical parts. this week i have bought a few components that i need for the circuit.

1) 16x4 LCD display

crystal oscillator 20mhz

2) LED (red)

3) 5 volt voltage regulator

4) Resistor

5) pic16f877a microcontroller chip

these are components that i bought for display circuit

week 8 - Making of slide presentation

this week i will be working on slide presentation that will be conduct in week 11. There are seven chapters that need to be included in the slide which are :

1) Introduction - the background of the project

2) problem statement - problem that need to be solve

3) objective - explanation of the project

4) scope and limitation - general explanation and method use

5) methodology - consist of block diagram and flow chart

6) expected outcomes

7) conclusion
